Snowy skin uses sheetmasks
Sheetmasks are nice but say if I'm using them diligently everyday, that can add up to $35 per week or $150 per month or $1825 per year.

A face mask a night, keeps the fine lines away.

And more!

I used to have boxes and boxes of unused face sheet masks sitting in my drawer. When I was at the beauty shop, sheet masks seemed to be a great idea BUT using them at home was another thing... I rarely used them and because of that they didn't have much effect on my skin.

I have to admit that putting on sheet masks is not necessarily the most pleasant experience because it is 1. a hassle 2. it can be cold!

I had to toss my unused masks because they had been just sitting there for over 5 years. I was reluctant to buy anymore until I received free samples.

Determined not to let these sheet masks go to waste, I made up my mind to use them all up in one go- by that I mean one mask per night.

It seemed like a hassle at first, but after a week, I felt my skin was clearer, brighter and definitely better overall than before. So I decided that I should keep going with doing sheet masks each night.

However, when I had gone through the whole lot, I needed to buy some more. Initially, I was happy to go online and click away and buy another dozen or two but after a while, I felt it was a bit heavy on the wallet.

Let's calculate: each sheet mask can cost anything between $2-$20 depending on the brand and the star ingredient. So, let's be conservative and say I'm spending $5 per sheet mask per day. That adds up to $35 per week or $150 per month or $1825 per year if I'm using them diligently every day.

Wow!! That's a lot of money on the face!

So I can either fork out that money or... make my own!!

I can always use commercial sheet masks once a week or so if I want to.

This is how I started making my own masks. I also use ingredients that are already in my kitchen. If it's good enough to eat, it's good enough for my face.
